Photography and sound
In this work sounds in the picture have been inverted, the recording made during the taking of the photo in the city is heard in the woods and vice versa.
I am interested in how an artwork can combine different fragment of reality to create an idea of unity. We are used to separate elements in order to understand it properly, but hardly ever do we try to understand things as an outsider viewer. A simple gesture of separating a sound from its context could generate multiple sensorial interaction with the public, in order to force it to alternate between a range of rational reflections and spontaneous emotions. I believe an experience through art can change the way we perceive our landscape, considering this concept as an open structure than involves our past, present and future memories of everyday sensorial interaction with the universe.

En esta obra los sonidos en las imágenes han sido invertidos, la grabación realizada durante la toma de la foto de la ciudad es escuchada en el bosque y viceversa.
Estoy interesado en la posibilidad que ofrece una obra de arte de combinar distintos fragmentos de realidad para crear cierta idea de unidad. Estamos acostumbrados a seccionar elementos para entenderlos mejor, pero raras veces intentamos comprender las cosas desde afuera, como un observador distante. El simple gesto de separar un sonido de su contexto puede generar múltiples interacciones sensoriales con el público, en orden de forzarlos a alternar el rango de emociones espontáneas y reflejos racionales. Creo que una experiencia artística puede cambiar la forma en que percibimos nuestro paisaje, considerando este concepto como estructura abierta que incluye nuestras pasadas, presentes y futuras memorias de la interacción sensorial en la vida diaria con el universo.
