From the Serie “About human loneliness”
Roots of a tree, tensors, black fabric and sound system
Human loneliness was made as a collateral exhibition in the Havana 10th Biennale. The installation involves a 3 meters root of a tree suspended to the viewer visual level in the gallery. From inside the trunk of the rhizomes emanated a steady sound of branches moving with the wind, birds, claxons and other surroundings sounds. The work was an intent of sacrament an object usually unnoticed for it apparent absence of life and content. The rest of the fallen tree was a pretext to talk about man and his pass through life, as a symbol of the mark we left in all around us.
